Discover Via Ardèche, the Ardèche greenway ! The old railway line that linked Le Teil to Alès was recently converted into an open way to pedestrians, joggers, cyclists, riders and rollerbladers. This easy 28 km route between Vogüé and Grospierres crosses various structures such as viaducts or tunnels. From the village of Ruoms, a section even joins Vallon Pont d'Arc.

By bike, with a pair of running or walking shoes, access the Via Ardèche from the Gîte Le Vallon du Savel. You can reach two of the most beautiful villages of France, Balazuc and Vogüé, but also Ruoms, Grospierres and Vallon Pont d'Arc without a car.

In the wake of travelers of the last century, the landscapes of the southern Ardèche offer themselves to you, calcareous rocks, vineyards, olive trees, scrubland and rivers are present all along this greenway.

The Gîte Le vallon du Savel offers you a closed room for 5 bikes or mountain bikes. A pump and a repair kit can be used if necessary. During your stay, plan bike rides with your family to discover our heritage and our invigorating nature !

Be the first to leave your tracks on the Via Ardèche! Even under the snow, the green way remains accessible to sportsmen. In winter too, the Ardèche Méridionale amazes us.

To the Gard department

In 2021, the Via Ardèche will even take you to the village of Saint-Paul-le-Jeune on the border of the Gard department. From the village of Grospierres to the village of Beaulieu, you will follow a 14 km route of small roads through fields and vineyards. You will continue on a 7 km long greenway to finish in Saint-Paul-le-Jeune. All you have to do is follow the signs !

Given the distance to cover from Pradons, we advise you to do this bike ride during the day and to have a picnic en route. There are several picnic spots along the route where you can rest and enjoy a meal. And why not plan a zero waste picnic with good local produce?

The recently developed section includes several structures, including 4 tunnels that you will have to cross before arriving at Saint-Paul-le-Jeune. Don't hesitate to quench your thirst in one of the village's bistros before heading back to Pradons.
