The village of Pradons has about 500 souls in the winter, who sometimes find themselves under the snow. In the past, the villagers used to bake their own bread in the communal oven, which is located just a few steps from our gîte. This oven is sometimes put into operation by lighting a wood fire directly in the oven chamber. The embers are then removed and the residual heat is used to bake the bread.
The result is a very appetizing loaf of bread that allows you to appreciate the flavour and quality of old-fashioned bread.

Welcome to Pradons. Enjoy the tranquility of our village and yet be close to all the tourism spots of South Ardèche.
